No Shame Here. Addiction, Wellbeing & the Workplace

Addiction and substance use touch every workplace, in every industry, at every level. Yet it’s one of the things we talk about least.

This webinar isn’t about statistics or policy. It’s about people. It’s a space to have the kind of honest, human conversation that rarely happens at work.  One that might help you understand your own experience differently, feel less alone, or know what to do when someone you care about is struggling.

Whether you’re here for yourself, for a colleague, or simply because you want to understand more, you’re welcome.

Join our hosts, Danny Cleary, Addiction Counsellor and Tobin Coles, Recovering Addict and CRO at Kara Connect.

Danny brings clinical expertise in addiction counselling, with direct experience working across different industries and life circumstances.

This will be an honest and open conversation, removing the stigma and shame that’s often associated with addiction.

More About The Webinar

What we’ll explore

  • What addiction actually looks like in the workplace and why it stays so hidden
  • The links between neurodiversity, trauma, and substance use
  • How to support a colleague you’re worried about — without overstepping
  • What recovery really looks like, from someone who’s lived it
  • How to create a workplace where people feel safe enough to ask for help

This session is for you if…

  • You’re an employee who has wondered whether what you’re experiencing might be a problem
  • You’re a manager or HR leader who wants to show up better for your team
  • You have a friend, family member, or colleague you’re worried about
  • You’re in recovery yourself and want to feel less alone
  • You’re simply curious and believe workplaces can do better

All are welcome. The session is confidential and free to attend.
