Supporting Women's Health in the Workforce

In recent years, the focus on supporting women through menopause has grown significantly, and while this is crucial, it’s important to remember that women face numerous health challenges before reaching menopause that also require attention and support.

Addressing these varied needs is essential for achieving true gender equity in the workplace. Findings from the 2023 Irish Life Health of the Nation survey revealed that only 66% of women felt well-informed about their health, with younger women feeling particularly uninformed.

Despite some progress in representation in executive positions, women continue to face unique workplace challenges that are often overlooked by employers. So, what are these challenges, and how can employers better support their female workforce?
