Meet the speaker:

Dr Tim van Wanrooij (he/him) is a white (Dutch), queer/gay, cisgender, and neurodivergent (dyslexic) Counselling Psychologist. Tim is recognised as an insightful and respected voice on relationships, sexuality, LGBTQAI+ populations, intersectionality and anxiety. He practices psychological therapy in Dublin and offers a bilingual service (Dutch and English), drawing on a dynamic mixture of experiences across several years and spheres of practice. His approach is based on Emotion Focused Therapy, embracing a feedback-informed model and he pays special attention to the impact of intersectionality. Tim has been featured in multiple articles and podcasts, and regularly hosts workshops and webinars. He currently chairs the Division of Counselling Psychology for the Psychological Society of Ireland.

With Pride Month approaching in June, it’s time to start a conversation about gender, sexuality, and relationships. Join us for our webinar "To Pride & Beyond: Building Allyship and Understanding LGBTQ+ Inclusion" with Dr. Tim van Wanrooij - chartered doctor of psychology, mental health advocate, psychological scientist, researcher & former social worker, specialising in topics such as sexuality, LGBTQ+ and relationships.

During the webinar, Dr. Tim will talk about why pride matters, debunk some myths, and discuss gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity. While recognising the importance of celebrating Pride Month, we want to equip you with actionable steps to create a diverse and inclusive environment.
